The Costa Brava is the name given to the coastal area of Spain with its Mediterranean Sea, which begins in Blanes and ends in Portbou, right on the border with France. This coastal strip is made up of the Catalan counties of Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà and La Selva, and is located in the province of Girona.

Typical Mediterranean cuisine
In the Costa Brava you can enjoy a delicious Mediterranean gastronomy, which gathers healthy and balanced food. This gastronomy is formed by fish, meat and vegetables. In this area there is a typical term which is known as “Sea and Mountain”, and refers to all those dishes in which fish and seafood are used together with meat.

- Restaurant Villa Teresita: is a gourmet restaurant located in La Escala, with magnificent sea views. It offers a menu based on Mediterranean cuisine where you can find the best organic products produced by the sea and land of the Empordà, treated with the criteria of haute cuisine.
- Restaurant Tragamar: Located in Calella de Palafrugell, in front of the sea, in one of the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava. It offers a Mediterranean cuisine, the gastronomic proposal of Tragamar is more resoundingly seafood and bets, more if possible, for the high quality of its raw material.
- Restaurant Compartir: Restaurant Compartir: Located on the Costa Brava, in the town of Cadaqués. The restaurant Compartir, bases its gastronomic offer on dishes for sharing, the result of a modern cuisine with a traditional touch. It was opened by chefs Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas. The restaurant has one Michelin star.

There are many magnificent museums to visit such as the house-museum of Salvador Dalí in Portlligat in Cadaquès, the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, the Museum of the Castle of Perelada, the Archaeological Museum of Catalonia-Ullastret, etc.
Transport and connections on the Costa Brava
The Costa Brava has a privileged network of accesses and connections due to its geographical location. The towns and villages that make up the area are connected by a good road network, with regular bus and train services. Girona is located 104 kilometres from Barcelona and 62 kilometres from the French border, and there are road and rail connections to both points.
Viloví d’Oñar is also home to Girona airport, with airlines flying to various European cities. The Costa Brava is very close to large cities such as the capital of Girona, Figueres, La Bisbal d’Empordà, etc.
One of the places that attracts the most families is the Chess Theme Park, opposite the National Auditorium. In this park, we can find a giant chess board with chess pieces. At night, these figures are illuminated by solar energy to form a beautiful light show.

When talking about the educational offer we can highlight 8 centers between schools and institutes such as Padre Claret, Corazón Inmaculado and Santamarca. Pals is a municipality in the Baix Empordà region with a population of just over 2,800 inhabitants, where we are located as a specialised real estate market in the area.
