10 tips for the online property consultant
This issue is serious, and we have to stay at home. We are all aware of the current situation in our country and in the world.
The worst thing you can ask of those of us in real estate is to stay at home. What we like and what really drives our work is dealing with people, going out and meeting new clients, being able to connect and socialise with them. It's knowing how they are doing, what they need, information about the sector... But now, we have to stay at home.
Therefore, I would like to share with you 10 actions that a real estate agent can do perfectly well from home so that we can make the best use of our time.
1. UPDATE YOUR DATABASE
We should work thoroughly on our database, so use this time at home to update it, review it and do some cleaning. Also make phone calls to owners and sellers, as most of them will already be at home. If, you haven't called your client for a month or two, now is the time.
2. READ REAL ESTATE BOOKS

3. REVISE THE WEBSITE CONTENT
On a daily basis, we don't have much time to write our own content and often the coordinators help us to do it. However, they don't really know the flats as well as you do.
Take the time to look at and review the listings texts and build up a narrative.
4. WORK ON YOUR PERSONAL BRAND
Try to understand the importance of your personal brand. Google yourself and see what comes up.
You can also create a profile on about.me, it's a very simple page where you can explain who you are and what you do.
Reflect on yourself. Reflect on your work. Think about how you can improve your business. Work on your business plan and your marketing plan. Because, above all, you need to have a plan. Good salespeople need a regular daily routine. Be prepared for when this market starts up again and be clear about your objectives.
6. WORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Go over the rules of Social Media again. Know what kind of posts to make on Instagram, Facebook or Linkedin. People are more and more interested in social media, so you have to understand perfectly how these platforms work.
7. CONTENT CREATION
Linked to the previous one, create quality content for your clients. Think about how you can add value as a real estate agent through social media.
8. PRACTICE YOUR VIDEO
This is the perfect time to get in front of the camera and practice making videos to differentiate yourself and above all, it will be a good way to boost your personal brand.
9. KEEP UP TO DATE
Find out what's going on in your industry, brush up on real estate laws, re-examine the m2 in your area. Remember, you are the real estate expert your client needs.
We need to stop for a moment and put aside everything we have experienced. Introspect, find peace and quiet.
Take the opportunity to be with your family, your children, your partner... and, above all, be grateful for the fact that we are still alive and for everything we have.
